I opened Charlie’s Auto Repair in 1996 after working for a local dealership and an independent repair shop for 10 years. I am an A.S.E. certified Master Technician. The passion I have for helping people and the automobile is what drives me everyday. I’m proud to be on the Mason City Honor Guard and a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and numerous activities for the Veterans. My wife Julie and I have 3 great children. When I have spare time I enjoy going to races, fishing, golfing and just hanging out with friends and family.
I have over 30 years of automotive experience. I enjoy hunting, fishing, guns and riding motorcycles. I have 4 daughters; plus 8 grandchildren. I am happily married to Kris Brass. I love the challenge of repairing todays automobiles and working with my fellow coworkers. Theres nothing better than helping some one in need and knowing that when they leave Charlie’s Auto Repair they were treated with respect and honesty! Its an honor to be a part of the Charlie’s Auto Repair team!!!

I have worked in the automotive industry for many years and started working for Charlie’s in 2011. The things I enjoy the best about working at Charlie’s is that I meet and help great people and everyday there is something different. I enjoy on my spare time going to the races, golfing, going fishing and spending time with my family.
I have been around cars pretty much my whole life (since Charlie is my dad!). I started working at Charlie’s full time after I graduated in 2022. I am an assistant to Charlie and learning so much every day. I have inherited his love for cars and passion for helping people. I really enjoy the classic cars! I also help at the All Vets Center in Mason City and other military activities. In my free time I love to roller skate and going to races throughout the U.S. helping alongside Dad work on the pit crew of his friends race cars.
I am a Mason City native and have been around cars most of my life. My grandfather, Jim and my uncle, Brett (Cookie) had auto body shops in Mason City and I’m continuing in the automotive field at Charlie’s Auto since 2022. I enjoy working on and modifying my personal vehicles, hunting, fishing and rooting for the Minnesota Vikings.

He has been working on cars alongside his dad, Matt, who has been with Charlie’s Auto since 2011. His hobbies include RC racing and golfing. In his spare time he does lawn care and snow removal.
